I'm a British actress, turned private chef and food blogger in Los Angeles. I was born in London and raised in the idyllic English countryside on the edge of the Ashdown Forest where Winnie The Pooh was written and based. I began acting professionally at the age of 4 years old in theatre across the UK and then branched out into television, where I appeared on numerous BBC sitcoms and teen dramas such as 'Hollyoaks' on Channel 4. This path eventually brought me to move to Los Angeles where I booked numerous film roles after spending some time training at Drama school in New York City.
When I was 18, I attended a summer intensive course at Le Cordon Bleu in London which helped me perfect my culinary skills. But I have to credit my Italian Grandmother for my passion for food. Like any true Nonna, her whole day centered around cooking the evening meal and she taught me how to make homemade pasta, gelatos, cakes, and marinaras from her kitchen.
Over the past 5 years, my attention switched back to cooking from acting and I have been busy developing recipes for my website as well as cooking for celebrity clients around Los Angeles as a private chef, catering small private events and dinner parties.
I am currently on my own health journey after my recent breast cancer diagnosis. I will be posting my anti-inflammatory recipes throughout my treatment with my husband and our bernedoodle by my side the whole way, who are the best taste testers.
I am also embarking upon a journey to become a nutritionist so I can combine my passion for cooking with my passion for healthy eating. Which also compliments the writing of my first recipe book, which is a lifelong dream!
