I’m obsessed with having a signature cocktail at an dinner or event I’m hosting. And I couldn’t love this one at this time of year more. It’s everything for a holiday party. I love an aperol spritz in the summer, but who says you can’t also drink them in the winter? The pomegrante is nice and tangy, I love to freeze some pretty ice cubes with pomegranate arils in it or even some cranberries with rosemary springs. And pop in some orange slices to enjoy.
Recipe bellow:
3 ounces Aperol
2 ounces pomegranate juice
4 ounces Prosecco
1 splash of seltzer/soda water
1 orange wedge
pomegranate arils for garnish or ice cubes with frozen cranberries/pomegrante arils and rosemary sprigs (optional)
This recipe makes 1 glass!
If you want to do a pitcher though this is what I do:
1.5 cups Aperol
1 cup pomegranate juice
2 cups Prosecco
1/2 cup soda water
Orange slices and ice cubes to decorate
